Everett repaired our fence and gate, replaced a faucet, repaired our deck (including repairing some framing issues), cleaned and sealed the deck, repaired some of the siding around the house, replaced a brick that had fallen out, painted some windows inside that we hadn’t painted after previous renovations, and cleaned and fixed our gutters.
We’re selling our house and needed to get a bunch of stuff done in order to get the house ready for the first open house, which was less than a week away. I found out about Everett’s online and got in contact right away. I texted pictures and described what we need and Everett gave us a quote at a fair price quickly! He got us the schedule ASAP to get repairs done on time.
The first round of repairs included working on our deck. Our deck was in awful shape and needed multiple new boards and some repairs done to the framing of the deck. The handyman Everett sent out was fantastic and quickly got the deck repaired and back into safe condition. On top of the repairs, we also had them power wash and seal the deck which turned out great!
Our gate also badly needed some help. Over time, the fence pickets bent, causing the gate to rub and become stuck. They rebuilt the gate and re-secured the pickets that had come loose. They inspected the pickets and reused the ones that were still in good condition. The damaged pickets were replaced and the gate now opens and closes without catching or rubbing against the fence.
The repairs to the fallen brick and windows were completed without issue, and they look great. Before even starting, Everett noticed there were gaps around the window where the brick fell out when I sent the pictures over. His original quote included sealing the gaps, and he addressed those areas during the repairs. The interior windows received a fresh coat of paint and look great. The bathroom faucet, which Everett helped us pick out, looks great and was cost effective.
That weekend, I contacted Everett to discuss the second round of repairs. This included gutter cleaning and repair, as well as fixing siding damaged in past storms. We were super impressed with his communication and gave approval to schedule the work.
Our gutters were also in horrible shape. We had not cleaned our gutters in over 10 years, and storms and fallen limbs damaged some areas. We also had plants, which turned out to be trees, growing in the gutters. Power washing was necessary to clean and restore the gutters. Everett’s handyman got everything taken care of including washing the dirt off of the house as power washing the gutters was a messy operation.
Everett also reviewed the inspection report for the new house we are buying, explained everything, advised us on what to negotiate with the sellers, and provided repair cost estimates for the inspector’s findings. He provided an excellent review of the inspection reports for a reasonable price, giving us a ton of confidence as we continued working with the sellers. We’ll be calling him the moment we close on the house so we can get everything taken care of before we get fully settled in.
We have been truly impressed by Everett’s communication, skill, quality, and dedication to helping his customers feel supported while repairing and maintaining their homes. Not only is his pricing more than reasonable, but he actively does things to help us save money. I can’t even begin to express how happy we are with Everett and his crew, and we’ll definitely be using them for all our future home repairs and projects.
